Chez Sois {take two}

My Chez Sois project is moving along.  We've gotten a lot done over the past few weeks.  I'm working with a great team on this project and enjoy sharing ideas.  Our first meeting was with the cabinet maker to discuss all the preliminary details.  Cabinetry is a big part of this project, so getting that process going will serve us well as we move forward.  We're not only doing new cabinets in the kitchen and bathrooms, but I'm designing a custom built-in for the family room and this won't be your standard installation.  More details coming later...

I also did a final walk-through with the contractor before the demo starts.  This is always a good idea so that everyone is on the same page and there are no surprises.  We talked a lot about budget to make sure what we all had the same expectations when it came to selecting the interior finishes. 

These stairs are getting a whole new look - flooring, railing and a fun surprise.
